Hi! My name is Virginia Gardner. I am a local Realtor; I've lived and worked in the Earlysville area since moving here with my family in 1990.
Earlysville was once an actual village, but Albemarle County changed that a few years ago. Now, the entire area called Earlysville is considered part of the County's Rural Area in the Comprehensive Plan (adopted 2015). We have a zip code (22936) which primarily designates the Earlysville community, though there are parts of Advance Mills which should certainly be considered a part of the Earlysville community. Also, though distinctly its own community, we share borders with Free Union, and the two communities share many interests and business services.
Earlysville-proper (the post office area) is located approximately 10.5 miles from the the Downtown Mall in the City of Charlottesville. There are something fewer than 2500 homes located within the Earlysville-22936 area.
It's easy for me to sell the Earlysville area; it represents a unique quality of life. One of the best ways for me to give back to my community is to promote its' assets to the local residents, and to families considering the purchase of a home in the Earlysville area.
My husband and I have loved this area since the day we first heard a flock of geese flying home to roost on a neighboring field. We love that we have great shopping and dining available to us within easy reach. We love that we are a part of a rural community, that we can walk down rural roads and find friendly neighbors, and we cherish the ability to return to our home for the peace and quiet we seek after a long day.
Promoting Earlysville ultimately helps me promote my community to others. It helps clients sell their homes by demonstrating the value of this unique lifestyle. For more about real estate in the Earlysville area. please visit our Earlysville Homes & Living page.
